Nietzsche was a philosopher[1] who worked on the concept of Overmen,[2] and wrote the following thoughts:
- "If it doesn't kill you, it only makes you stronger".[1]
- "He who fights too long with dragons becomes a dragon himself."[3]
Legacy of his works[]
Said concept of Overmen was later expanded upon by Molyneux of the Hellfire Club, mixed with Darwin's works. By 1906, Molyneux had assembled seers, the first step towards the Overmen, at the San Fransisco branch to help him detect the arrival of the Overmen in order to destroy them to protect mankind.[2]
When the Nazis developed a Super-Soldier program, they named it after Nietzsche as a reference to the concept of the Overman: Project: Nietzsche.[4]
The Mad Thinker created an android based on Friedrich Nietzsche programed with all of Nietzsche's writings, as part of a project where the Thinker created androids based on many great thinkers, hoping they would make new applications of their philosophies for our time.[5]
