History

Frigg is the eldest granddaughter of Thor, the king of Asgard. She along with her two sisters, Ellisiv and Atli were captured by Gorr the God Butcher and taken to his slave planet, forcing them along with other time-displaced gods to construct the Godbomb, a monolithic explosive that spells destruction of all gods. After spending an unknown amount of time there, Frigg and her sisters came across a new slave brought to the planet, a very ill-tempered individual who unbeknownst to them, was a younger alternate version of their grandfather.[1]

After Gorr's defeat, Frigg and her sisters returned to Asgard and helped Thor fend off Galactus - claiming Stormbreaker as her weapon of choice. Frigg and her sisters helped Thor restore life on Earth,[3] and were left in-charge of overseeing New Midgard. When Doom attacked, Frigg and her sisters attempted to fend him off but were briefly captured. After being freed by her grandfather and Phoenix, she and her sisters protected the humans from Doom's monsters.[4] When their great-uncle Loki claimed All-Black, Frigg and her sisters travelled to Indigarr searching for a way to stop him and came across the Sky Lords of Indigarr - some of the time-displaced gods who Thor had brought to the past and settled on the barren world. The Goddesses of Thunder and the Sky Lords confronted Gorr, who had been resurrected by Loki, and were ultimately able to defeat him. After Thor sacrificed himself to save the universe from succumbing to oblivion, Frigg became the leader of a new team of Avengers, losing her left eye at some point and donning an eyepatch.[5]
