History

The Frightful Four Hundred were semi-independent drones created by the Wizard using epidurium. They were connected to his mind like appendages. The Wizard was tasked by his "angel," the Griever at the End of All Things, to slay the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, but the Maximoff twins, the Vision, and Speed destroyed the Frightful Four Hundred and their factory in the Wizard's base Grotto.

Trivia

• The name is derived from the Frightful Four.
• The Wizard, the Frightful Four Hundred, and the Griever at the End of All Things all say "The End is the Truth." In addition to that, the Griever also uses the term "Quiet Math." This seems to be a reference to the "Quiet Math"/"Silent Truth" from Jonathan Hickman's S.H.I.E.L.D. & S.H.I.E.L.D. (Vol. 2), where Sir Isaac Newton calculated the end of the world and declared that the "Truth."
