History
Fu Xi (伏羲) was the progenitor of the Fu Xi Tribe of China and one of the legendary Three Sovereigns (along with Nü-wa and Shen Nong).[1]
Millennia ago, when the destructive god of war Chiyou and his demonic army were slaughtering the confederation of Chinese tribes descended from the Three Sovereigns (known collectively as "the Huaxia"), Emperor Xuanyuan called on Fu Xi, Nü-wa, and Shen Nong to assist their descendants in defeating Chiyou. In response, Fu Xi sent them the sacred weapon known as the Sword of Fu Xi. Using the Sword of Fu Xi, the Chief of the Fu Xi Tribe joined forces with the other Huaxia tribes to defeat Chiyou and bury his dismembered remains in separate tombs.[1]
In modern times, the Sword of Fu Xi was discovered by Fu Xi's descendant, Professor Lin, who passed it onto his son Lin Lie.[2]Attributes
