Synopsis for "Dark Island"
Scarlett, a member of the elite Ninja Force, is struggling with self-doubt and her place in the team. To help her regain her confidence, Hawk recounts a mission from her early days as a Joe. The mission involves infiltrating a Caribbean island fortress called Safe House, run by Madame Umbra, who is suspected of funding terrorists. Scarlett must disguise herself as a spy, with teammates Breaker and Rock 'n' Roll delivering her to Umbra in exchange for an American scientist.
Upon arriving at the island, Scarlett and her teammates are escorted to Umbra. Breaker and Rock 'n' Roll are sent to their quarters, only to discover they are locked in. Breaker manages to unlock the door and steals a technician's uniform to gain access to the base's main room. Meanwhile, Scarlett tries to escape and discovers that the American scientist is actually a Russian spy on a similar mission. Both are recaptured, and Umbra kills the Russian spy before challenging Scarlett to a fight to the death.
As the guards discover Breaker's absence, Rock 'n' Roll escapes to the main room. Breaker retrieves critical information linking Umbra to Cobra and other terrorist organizations, just as the guards attack him. Scarlett, Rock 'n' Roll, and Breaker manage to regroup, with Breaker staying behind to send a distress signal to the submarine that brought them to the island.
Rock 'n' Roll and Scarlett flee into the jungle but encounter quicksand, from which Rock 'n' Roll saves Scarlett using a tree and his strength. Cornered by Umbra and her men, they are saved by Breaker's timely arrival and the detonation of Safe House. As reinforcements arrive, Umbra chooses death over capture, using Scarlett's gun to end her own life. The Joes are taken to their next assignment by the submarine.
Back in the present, Hawk reminds Scarlett of her past successes, boosting her confidence. Reinvigorated, Scarlett agrees to retry the training exercise, this time completing it with ease.
