Synopsis for "Zartan!"
Storm Shadow is being transported to Alcatraz Island by Short-Fuse and Roadblock, who are tasked with guarding him. In the Everglades, Cobra Commander, Baroness, and Destro meet up with Zartan, who leads them to his headquarters. Meanwhile, a team of Joes, including Tripwire, Torpedo, Airborne, Zap, Rock 'n Roll, Mutt, and Junkyard, are sent to follow up on a mail receipt found on Storm Shadow. They reach the swamp in Florida, where they engage in a battle with Firefly and Wild Weasel. Meanwhile, in Alcatraz, Roadblock and Duke discover that Storm Shadow has escaped from his cell.
Back at Zartan's lair, the Baroness questions his loyalty and operation, and Zartan demands proof of his dedication. While they are discussing loyalty, Cobra Commander turns the attention back to the Baroness, and she almost reveals that he ordered the Scotsman to be killed. In the swamp, the Joes catch up to Junkyard, who has found Firefly and Wild Weasel in a tree. They capture the Cobra agents and continue their mission. Finally, Zartan finds Junkyard sitting outside his door and prepares to "put it out of its misery," thinking the dog is a stray.
