Synopsis for "Launch Base"

At Fort Wadsworth, Snake-Eyes and Scarlett honor Destro as a respectable foe by dropping flowers into the ruins of the Pit. Suddenly, the Baroness flies in on a Rattler and drops a wreath with the message "R.I.P. Destro". On Cobra Island, Serpentor takes over leadership and meets with envoys from the new government of Sierra Gordo who want anti-aircraft defense facilities. Serpentor offers them a Terror Drome, and they immediately produce cash.

At Fort Wadsworth, a newly arrived officer named Slip-Stream introduces himself as the new Joe fighter pilot while playing an arcade game. Down in the ruins of the Pit, Cobra Commander and Destro are still alive but trapped. In Sierra Gordo, the first Terror Drome is assembled, and Airtight delivers satellite pictures to Hawk. He suggests infiltrating the base in Sierra Gordo and letting someone get captured, but warns that if Cobra knew they had a ninja captured, security would increase.

On Cobra Island, Serpentor wants to make Cobra successful and profitable and puts the family in the sales corps to sell Terror Dromes. The Baroness orders a Firebat to be dispatched as a demonstration for the envoys in Sierra Gordo, and Slipstream fires on the helicopter, destroying it. The twins retrieve Flint, and Mindbender has him taken to the Brain-Wave Scanner. At Fort Wadsworth, Lady Jaye tells Flint that Scarlett must be worried sick, but Flint responds that she should be used to it by now. Meanwhile, Cobra Commander and Destro worry they will drown as water drains into the ruins of the Pit.
