Synopsis for "Strange Bedfellows"
On board the U.S.S. Flagg, Hawk informs Lady Jaye and Flint that the analysis of the parts from the stolen Terror-Drome is incomplete due to strange components traced to M.A.R.S., Destro's arms company. They also learn that Destro and Cobra Commander have escaped from the Pit wreckage and Destro was seen in Glasgow returning to his ancestral home. Hawk sends Lady Jaye and Flint to intercept Destro in the UK.
Destro arrives at Prestwick International Airport and changes into his familiar costume before calling a taxi. Lady Jaye and Flint meet two British soldiers, Officer Smythe-Barret and Sergeant Day, and head off to intercept Destro. They notice a hanger labelled "R.A.F. Museum," which Smythe-Barret explains is for storage of large exhibits. At Castle Destro, the team observes Destro's arrest and Lady Jaye suggests a jailbreak. Disguised as a lay sister of mercy, Lady Jaye infiltrates Destro's cell, and Flint blasts a hole in the wall for their escape. Destro offers a deal to help them regain his castle and title in exchange for the plans.
Using an old glider from the R.A.F. Museum, Lady Jaye, Smythe-Barret, and Destro fly to Castle Destro, while Flint and Day head there in a rover. The glider evades the radar, but the rover is spotted and attacked. Flint and Day draw the castle's fire, and inside, the impostor orders the guards to secure the plans room. Destro crashes the glider into the greenhouse, signaling the ground support to attack, and Flint blasts down the main doors. The impostor barricades himself in the plans room, but Flint and Day smash through. The real Destro overpowers the impostor, who is revealed as Major Bludd. Destro gives the team the plans and allows them to leave.
