History
This Life-Model Decoy of S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Gail Runciter was created by the Encoders under the orders of the Deltite, an advanced LMD created by Arnim Zola who replaced several S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives with LMDs, including the Executive Council.[1][2]
The real Gail Runciter was replaced behind the scenes, and his LMD became active when Nick Fury directed a mission to obtain the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier's Power Core in the deserts of New Mexico; Runciter helped fighting Hydra, which had arrived to battle S.H.I.E.L.D. in order to take the Core for theirselves.[3]
Runciter briefly encountered Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine at S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters in Manhattan.[4]
When the S.H.I.E.L.D. Space Station exploded, all the LMDs were destroyed, including Runciter's LMD.[5]
