History

The Galactic Union was the vision of J'son, the ruler of the Spartax Empire, although it never came into fruition in his lifetime. During an organized destabilization effort by the Inhumans with the help from the Grandmaster, many leaders of the Galactic Council were killed, including J'son, and the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda was framed. In addition, the Skrulls ended the Kree/Skrull Alliance while the Shi'ar Empire was overtaken by the Secret Alliance. The Inhumans presented themselves as saviors by aiding the Council against the Skrulls. In the aftermath, the Inhumans successfully gained political power among the space empires and a new Galactic Union was formed soon after, which included the Inhumans and Wakanda. However, the Shi'ar Empire went independent and the Skrull Empire was rejected. The new ruler of Spartax, Peter Quill, became the head of the Union.
