History
Galactus' history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's with the major exception that Nova remained his Herald. A hundred million years into the future, Galactus and Nova investigated a bizarre rearrangement of the stars and galaxies, during which he came upon the Earth. Finding that human life has apparently become extinct, he no longer felt bound by his pledge to spare the planet and at long last devoured it. His explorations of the dying universe found him in final combat against Ecce, the Watcher who had witnessed his "birth" and regretted not killing him when he had the chance. After a thousand years of combat, Galactus drained the collection of the last living planets in the universe to defeat the rogue Watcher. Recognizing that the universe was falling into entropy rather than initiating another "Big Crunch" that would recreate the universe, Galactus cracked open his armor. His eons of pent-up energy caused a new Big Bang, which Nova survived to become the new universe's Galactus.[1][2]
