History
Gamora's backstory was more or less the same as her Earth-199999 counterpart up to the moment when Tony Stark redirected the nuclear missile towards the Chitauri mothership, but crash-landed on Sakaar instead of returning to Earth.
Thanos eventually sent Gamora to hunt and kill Stark, although she was met with intervention from the Grandmaster's forces, who at one point had her participate in a death race which the Grandmaster waged with Stark. During the race, Gamora was still intent to kill Stark until he convinced her to step out of Thanos's shadow, and forge her own path. After helping Stark win the race and defeat the Grandmaster, Gamora eventually took Stark to Thanos, feigning the former's capture. Wielding Topaz's melting rod, Gamora performed a surprise attack on Thanos, killing him. She eventually took over Thanos's title of warlord, wearing a new armor, and wielding Thanos's sword.
Joining the Guardians of the Multiverse[]
Gamora along with Stark were in Nidavellir where Eitri was melting the Infinity Gauntlet, there Stark suggested a way to protect the galaxy to combat a future danger before they realize the presence of the Uatu, the Watcher came to recruit her to join the Guardians of the Multiverse alongside Captain Carter, Star-Lord T'Challa, Thor Odinson, Erik Killmonger, and Doctor Strange as a response to the threat of Infinity Ultron.
Together with the other Guardians, they devised a plan to stop Ultron and would use the Infinity Crusher that Gamora used in their universe to destroy his Stones. Once ready, they transported to another universe to put their plan into action while Strange enchanted the team with an advanced protection spell. She and Killmonger went to another universe to prepare the Infinity Crusher for Ultron to find them, during the fight they tried to use the crusher to destroy Ultron's Infinity Stones but because it was designed to destroy the Stones from Gamora's universe, it could not destroy his. Ultron was finally stopped after being infected by Zola's analog virus which destroyed him from the inside. After defeating Ultron, Killmonger took his armor along with his Stones for himself. Zola, who had assumed Ultron's body, tried to retrieve them, the two engage in a standoff, in the end Strange locks them inside a pocket dimension. Uatu then sends everyone back to their realities at the exact moment they was extracted.[2]Attributes
