History
Origin[]
Ganesha[1] or Ganesh[3] was a member of the Daevas, the Vedic or Hindu gods, and the god of intellect, wisdom,[1] obstacles and new beginnings.[5]He got his elephant head because Shiva cut it off. Parvati, Ganesha's mother, despised him for this act, so she ordered him to get a new head for their son.
Modern days[]
As part of the Hindu gods, he was still worshipped in modern times, and, as the Remover of Obstacles, was the "go-to deity" for professional drivers.[3][5]Attributes
Powers
Ganesha presumably possesses the powers and physical attributes common to other Hindu gods.
