History
Origin
Ganesha[1] or Ganesh[3] was a member of the Daevas, the Vedic or Hindu gods, and the god of intellect, wisdom,[1] obstacles and new beginnings.[5]
Modern days
As part of the Hindu gods, he was still worshiped in modern times, and, as the Remover of Obstacles, was the "go-to deity" for professional drivers.[3]
