History

Nightmask and Starbrand visiting Ex Nihilo and Abyss

The Garden was a region of Mars that was terraformed by Ex Nihilo, Abyss, and their Aleph to create an atmosphere capable of sustaining vegetation.

Years after the Gardener's death, the locale was repurposed by Armor, who planted Flowers of Krakoa there at the behest of Xavier to create a Krakoan Habitat, a diplomatic biome interconnected to Krakoa's collective consciousness. Rechristened the Red Farm, the area served as agricultural center for growing Flowers of Krakoa en masse.

Trivia

• Mars is later fully terraformed by the mutants into "Planet Arakko." Feilong considers this to be "human failure" rather than "mutant accomplishment" as the Avengers had access to Ex Nihilo's Garden on Mars, but they did not do anything with it.
