Garfield "Gary" Garoldson is a one armed Science Drone obsessed with M.O.D.O.K.
History
When M.O.D.O.K. was frustrated about the financial situation at A.I.M., he used his mind-blast and accidentally amputated Gary's right arm off at the shoulder. Later, instead of reattaching the arm, M.O.D.O.K. used it as a Trojan Horse to blow up one of Monica's monsters that had grown large with modified Pym Particles.[1]
After M.O.D.O.K. sold a control of A.I.M. to GRUMBL, Gary was one of the many employees that was fired and then rehired.[1]
With cut backs to M.O.D.O.K.'s science team, only Gary was assigned to work under him. [3] Gary was also assigned as head of fire safety at A.I.M. [5] During his time on M.O.D.O.K.'s science team, Gary celebrated his birthday, with Daphne scheduling a compulsory birthday party for him. This birthday helped M.O.D.O.K. and Monica's plan to hack Doris' computer. [2]
Later, when M.O.D.O.K. was demoted to the mailroom, Gary was also demoted to the mailroom with him while still working on fire safety.[5]
Suspecting Austin Van Der Sleet of killing M.O.D.O.K's. spirit, Gary decided to kill Austin's body. This decision resulted in his relationship with his husband being strained. After unsuccessfully trying to poison Austin, Gary was abducted by Monica, but escaped by chewing off his hand. Gary was finally able to kill Austin by running him over with a car. As a reward for his loyalty, Gary was hired to work at M.O.D.O.K.'s new company, A-I-M 2. Gary gained a robot hand to replace the one he had chewed off and reconciled with Big Mike. [4]Personality
