History

Denarian Saal was a member of the Nova Corps. He was present when fellow Nova Corps officer Rhomann Dey processed Peter Quill, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot after he arrested them. Saal was later a part of the fleet of Nova Corpsmen who tried to prevent the fanatical Kree Ronan's ship the Dark Aster from landing on Xandar by creating an energy net with their ships. However, with an Infinity Stone in his possession, Ronan was able to overwhelm the Nova Corps and break through the net, killing Saal in the process.
