Gary Rags was a man whose soul wasn't worth much. He gambled the money intended for his mother's cancer treatment, left his wife and sons desolate with nothing, and killed a bookie in Reno to avoid a two thousand dollar debt. He owed thirty-two thousand dollars to the Devil's Den casino, thus he was taken by the security to talk with the owner, Mr. Degli (actually the demon Blackheart disguised as a human). Gary didn't have the money, so Mr. Degli offered to absolve all debts if he signed a contract giving his soul. Gary accepted. His was the last soul Blackheart needed to perform a satanic ritual to bring Hell to Earth.
