Gateway was originally one of the mutants who joined forces with Magneto in his assault on Genosha.
He eventually came to live with the aboriginal in Australia, and helped "Two Minds" (The Hulk) tame his demons, while alluding to the fact that their reality was a dream.[citation needed]
