Notes

  • This issue contains the final Marvel (Timely) appearance of the Flap Flipflop feature. However, one last Flap Flipflop story appeared in Jack-in-the-Box Comics #13 from Charlton Comics in 1947.[1]
  • After this issue, the Eustace Hayseed and Choo-Choo feature moves to Krazy Komics (volume 2), starting with #1.
  • This issue contains the final Marvel (Timely) appearance of the Squat Car Squad/Krazy Kops feature. (Interestingly, a Squat Car Squad story appeared in Jack-in-the-Box Comics #12 from Charlton Comics just two months before.[1])
  • The Willie feature that begins in this issue of Gay Comics is in addition to Willie's appearances in his own comic book.

Footnotes

  1. 1.0 1.1 Why this happened is unknown, but the most likely explanation is that Marvel sold some inventory stories that they had no plans on ever printing to Charlton.
