Gaylord, along with his cousins Quentin and Doris, were named in the will of their late millionaire uncle Joshua where if they wanted to get the $ 1 million inheritance they would have to look for in the Egyptian pyramid-shaped tomb where he had hidden it. To obtain the inheritance all for him, his cousin Quentin masked himself as a Mummy to eliminate his two cousins, but thanks to the intervention of Captain America and Bucky, whose help was required by Doris, Quentin's plot was unmasked and he came arrested, while Doris and Gaylord shared the inheritance in equal parts.[1]
