History

Arch-nemesis and one-time colleague to Crowbar of the Eccentrics, Gene Pool once harassed Crowbar by activating a grenade on the later's belt, which Crowbar, being too disproportionate, was unable to switch off. Gene Pool also relaxed by crossdressing and taking pictures of himself, albeit he tried to not show the pictures.[1]

Later, Gene Pool was harassing some kids in an activity he found harmless, but a person he believed to be Crowbar (more likely Crowbar's evil cousin Fred purposely impersonating Crowbar) stopped him with a Super Soaker 3000 water gun. Angry as hell, Gene Pool recruited several villains and attacked the Eccentrics' lair, confronting Crowbar. Crowbar, unable to remember the soaking event -but admitting he had always wanted to, tried to find an explanation to the situation; Gene Pool and the others agreed patiently waited during the exposition that led to nowhere, until Crowbar decided to attack the intruders. During the fight, Gene Pool's shots dropped Crowbar's toupee but failed to defeat the enemies.[1]

The Eccentrics unexpectedly received reinforcements in the (apparent) form of Chair, their missing teammate, wearing a suit of armor. Gene Pool recognized Chair in rspect. Crowbar and Chair, working together, defeated the intruders, leaving Gene Pool and the other villains laying on their floor before greeting Chair. They were unaware that they were being watched via hidden cameras by Deathshatterer, Lexiak, Mr. Bat-mom, Professor Etrangé, the Eccentrics themselves (which makes little sense) and lastly by Fred, who apparently had orchestrated the event, sending a Chair copycat impersonator.[1]

Trivia

It is unclear whether Gene Pool attacking the Eccentrics was a plan arranged by any of the people with hidden cameras, because his appearance was a one-time parodic story.
