History

In 1973, General Nhuan attended the Peace Accords in Paris, where he and his Vietnamese allies were out partying in a French nightclub. Nhuan met a mutant Mystique, who intrigued him with her fluency in his native tongue. He took her back to his private room and attempted to seduce her. However, she transformed into her natural blue form and put her leg to his throat, which incapacitated him. Mystique then impersonated Nhuan so she could get close to Bolivar Trask and kill him.
