Synopsis for "Between the Cracks"
Sean “Banshee” Cassidy takes his students on a winter field trip to snowy Maine. The police reroute Sean’s group because an apparent mutant has taken a teacher hostage in a nearby high school. The local police have the school surrounded as anti-mutant hysteria riles the crowd of spectators. Mutant “Orphan Maker” seeks to liberate the kidnapper but is driven off by Sean and Generation X. Jubilee gains entrance to the school where the kidnapped teacher has died of a heart attack. It turns out that the young kidnapper was not a mutant, but an ugly student wanting to attend the school.
