Synopsis for "Nights and Bolts"

Banshee has a nightmare from his past when he was investigating a mutant serial killer in Europe during his Interpol days. In the dream, he loses grip of a woman on the battlements of Cassidy Keep, and the serial killer taunts him. Sean shoots the killer, but Emma Frost appears in his dream, urging him to wake up. Emma reveals that she's been telepathically drawn into his dreams due to their close proximity as they currently live in the same house together after the girls dormatory got blown up by Chamber.

The same Chamber continues to brood over his powers and the incident with Husk. He remembers the first time his mutant powers manifested and feels sorry for himself. Husk apologizes to him for her actions and thanks him for taking the blame for the dorm incident. Jubilee not only spies on Husk and Chamber, but also on Monet. She is causing tension when it is revealed that M is looking at drawings made by a child. Meanwhile, Skin and Synch work on building a treehouse for Leech and Artie.

Later, M confronts Gateway about her mentorship and they meditate together. While Banshee is watching that scene, Emma comes to him and apologizes for her earlier behavior. She also shares her remorse for her past actions as the White Queen. Shortly after that, Sean receives a phone call from Mrs. O'Brian. She wants Sean to come to Ireland because Cassidy Keep has disappeared.
