- Rick Jones comments that Phyla-Vell looks different. This is because this Phylla is from Earth-18897, not the Phyla native to Earth-616, who Rick first met in Captain Marvel (Vol. 5) #17 and who died in Guardians of the Galaxy (Vol. 2) #2.
- As noted on an editor's note, the Kree and the Skrull formed an alliance in 2019's Incoming #1, with it being further explored in Empyre.
- Curiously, Genis-Vell once tried to prevent a future where the Kree, the Skrulls and the Shi'ar formed an alliance and subdued the galaxy.[1]
- Ren-Varr makes reference to the events of Operation Galactic Storm, during which the Shi'ar sent a Nega-Bomb against the Kree.
