History
Geometer was a member of an unknown, long extinct alien race of scientists. He believed he had discovered a mathematical equation that fully described the workings of the universe, but another of his race made a physical observation his equation had not accounted for. Annoyed, Geometer left to find a universe that did fit and discovered the Lathe of Perfection that allowed him to change anything into perfect geometries. He spent billions of years traveling to different universes, where he discovered a man from his native reality. He tried to use the Lathe on him, but the man escaped through another rift before the process was complete. The Geometer then followed him back to his home reality, and come into conflict with Quasar. The Geometer tried to remake this universe, but Quasar was able to convince him that too many imperfections existed for this to work and instead should travel back in time to the beginning of the universe. Quasar expected that this would create a divergent timeline if the Geometer survived.[1] His fate after this is unknown, but the Geometer or another of his race was present during the Maximum Security crisis.[2]
