History
On Earth-TRN911, Captain George Stacy, father to Gwen Stacy, was killed in New York City during a fight of el Hombre Araña with a villain.[1] Although el Hombre Araña was not guilty of the captain's death, Gwen blamed el Hombre Araña and decided to move to London, thus breaking her relationship with her boyfriend Peter Parker (who was secretly el Hombre Araña). Gwen eventually noticed moving to London was a mistake,[2] Gwen suffered because she believed el Hombre Araña had caused the death of her father and, should she go back to New York, she'd only live to hate el Hombre Araña; but at the same time, she wanted to go back with Peter Parker. Similarly, Parker decided he could only be with Gwen if he forfeited his superhero career, but the world needed el Hombre Araña, so he'd have to renounce to his happiness.[3] Eventually, Gwen returned to New York City and to Parker,[4] but still disliked el Hombre Araña.[5]
