The past history of M.O.D.O.K of Earth-9997 mirrors that of his Earth-616 counterpart. In recent history, M.O.D.O.K, like every other telepath on the planet, was killed when the Skull's powers first manifested. M.O.D.O.K's hoverchair, ironically, was later recovered by the Skull's army and the Skull used it as his personal throne.
