When Earths of two realities were about to collide, A.I.M. decided to solve the problem by destroying the other Earth with an anti-matter bomb. M.O.D.O.K. allied himself with K.D.O.O.M. of the other reality as well K.M.O.O.D. from a third reality. Together they developed an anti-matter bomb to destroy K.D.O.O.M.'s Earth before the Convergence could happen.
Before their plan could be executed, the anti-matter bomb was stolen by Black Widow. M.O.D.O.K. retrieved it back and together with K.D.O.O.M. regrouped with K.M.O.O.D. who had loaded the anti-matter bomb into the device to detonate it. Spider-Man used a web to yank the bomb's vial core out of it, and swung away. He managed to evade K.M.O.O.D and K.D.O.O.M., but M.O.D.O.K. blindsided the hero and blasted him away, making him drop the vial. Captain Marvel fought M.O.D.O.K. and K.D.O.O.M., but after defeating them she noticed K.M.O.O.D. had retrieved the vial and went back to activate the bomb.
When Black Widow defeating a unit of A.I.M. soldiers that was guarding the anti-matter bomb, she and Storm were surrounded by another unit which was spearheaded by M.O.D.O.K., who insisted that A.I.M. intended to save their Earth, even if it means destroying the other. Iron Man defeated the A.I.M. soldiers with Storm's help, but M.O.D.O.K. escaped with the anti-matter bomb and Iron Man gave chase. Stark knocked M.O.D.O.K. into a rooftop and defeated him, but K.D.O.O.M. came to his help, blasting Iron Man away. K.D.O.O.M. and M.O.D.O.K. escaped with the anti-matter bomb, and Spider-Man went in their pursuit, finding the two villains with a third counterpart, K.M.O.O.D. who have loaded the anti-matter bomb into the device to detonate it. Spider-Man used a web to yank the bomb's vial core out of it, and swung away. He managed to evade K.M.O.O.D and K.D.O.O.M., but M.O.D.O.K. blindsided the hero and blasted him away, making him drop the vial. Captain Marvel fought M.O.D.O.K. and K.D.O.O.M., but after defeating them she noticed K.M.O.O.D. had retrieved the vial and went back to activate the bomb. She punched him into a building and removed the core, depowering the machine.
Numerous A.I.M. troopers and mechas arrived and surrounded Captain Marvel and Doctor Strange, led by K.M.O.O.D. Other heroes joined the fight, leading to a confontation between A.I.M. and the heroes. Although A.I.M.'s forces were overwhelmed, K.M.O.O.D. retrieved the vial from one of his fallen agents and fled. The Vision appeared and wrestled the vial out of K.M.O.O.D.'s hands, hurling the villain into a portal cast by Doctor Strange that left him stranded in a desert. The Vision sacrified himself by using his density-altering powers in tandem with the Convergence Engines to bring the colliding worlds together more harmoniously.[1]Paraphernalia
