History
Gérman was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, to Fernando[2] and Susana Aguilar.[3] He first manifested his powers while sleeping when he was four or five: after waking their parents with his animal projects, they realized their son was a Nahual.[2]
When he was a little older, he was attacked by a vampire while playing soccer outside. He was saved by his mother, who impaled the attacker, but that left him traumatized forever.[4]
Eventually, Germán became one of the first students of Strange Academy, a school for young magicians, and he had Toth as his roommate.[5]
After a first year full of adventures and misadventures,[6] Germán started growing close to newcomer Pia, who was secretly a vampire.[4] During the Vampire Apocalypse, Gérman and others overheard that the Montesi Formula could be the key to defeating the vampires, so they decided to help by searching for the Darkhold, the dark magic book that contained the Montesi Formula, which unbeknownst to them had the power to kill every vampire in the world. Pia, who knew its power, was understandably scared, but still accompanied her colleagues to Madripoor, where they found a boy who was the embodiment of the book. He defeated Gérman and all the students except for Pia, leading her to attack him and reveal her vampire nature to all her colleagues.[7]
Pia told everyone what would happen if they used the Montesi Formula, and they decided they had to stop the Montesi Formula from being used at any cost. Amidst the rubble, however, the Darkhold kid escaped, bringing them back to square one. Afterwards, Pia and Gérman had a talk about his fear of vampires, but it quickly became clear to both that his fondness for her overcame any apprehension.[4]
Later, when Pia saw the Darkhold Kid's vulnerability while facing Agatha Harkness, she realized he was just a scared kid and they joined forces to defeat her. In the end, Doyle Dormammu invited him to join Strange Academy.[8] After Doctor Doom became Sorcerer Supreme to put an end to the Vampire Apocalypse,[9] Gérman was one of the students chosen to enroll in Doom Academy.[10]Attributes
