History
Gerry Conway is a comic book writer who works for Marvel Comics, a company that is licensed to write comic books based on the super-heroes that live in their world.
Gerry joined his co-workers Roy Thomas, his wife Jean, Steve Englehart, Len Wein and his wife Glynis on a road trip to Rutland, Vermont, for their annual Halloween parade. On the way there they had a brief encounter with the mutant hero known as the Beast and the avatar of destruction known as the Juggernaut. [1] As they arrived in town, they crossed over into a distant cosmos where they witnessed the Justice League of America battle their foe Felix Faust[2] Crossing back over to their home reality, they later witnessed the thunder god Thor battle Loki and the Absorbing Man.[3] Eventually they crossed paths with the Beast one more time before returning home to New York.[1]
He was later at the Marvel Comics offices when they were attacked by the Impossible Man when he demanded that they create a comic book based on his character. He was stopped thanks to the intervention of the Fantastic Four. Even the rampage wrecked havoc in the office, Conway had his head in the clouds the whole time.[4]
