Notes

Continuity Notes[]

  • In Marvel Spotlight #5, Johnny Blaze made a pact with the Satan to avoid his father's death by cancer. Although the Satan who appeared in that issue was considered to be the devil figure from the Catholic religion, it would be retconned into being the demon Mephisto posing as Satan.[1] However, this issue retcons those events again, since Lucifer is shown to be the Satan with whom Blaze made the pact. This latest retcon has since been undone, with Mephisto once being established as the one who made the deal.
