History

Giacomo Montesi was a monk whose father Paolo had been murdered by the vampire Varnae. Paolo had been tasked with translating the Darkhold scrolls. Giacomo had been researching the Darkhold in the hopes of finding a spell to destroy all Vampires. His travels led him to Tibet and the nine wise men of Kamar Taj. Giacomo was murdered by a human agent of Varnae before he could complete a trade with the wise men for the spell. Giacomo's son Marcello later was killed by Varnae after he attempted to complete his father's task.
