Synopsis for 1st story
Gwen Stacy #1
Captain Stacy is injured during an encounter with an informant and the latter is killed. According to the forensic reconstruction, it was Stacy who shot first and who risks a corruption charge, which he would however avoid by resigning. George doesn't mean to do it and his daughter approves of her, but when the Enforcers threaten her, he changes his mind. When she discovers that her father no longer seems willing to defend himself against the accusations, Gwen realizes what must have happened and decides to investigate to exonerate him, helped by her boyfriend and her friend Harry Osborn.

Synopsis for 2nd story
Gwen Stacy #2
Gwen goes to Harry's house to use Oscorp software to try to find evidence for her father. At that moment Norman returns and allows them to continue using the computer and gives him a suggestion: see who could benefit from his father's resignation, and Gwen begins to suspect the Ox. Gwen then begins to suspect Goblin and goes to talk to Norman Osborn, not because she thinks he is Goblin, but because she understands that his glider is an Oscorp project. Norman doesn't deny it, but tells her there were a lot of people involved and suggests she investigate Frederick Foswell, a suggestion she passes on to Jean DeWolff and Yuri Watanabe. Because of this she is threatened by the Crime Master.
