History
Nothing is known about the history of the man known as Le' Sabre prior to his joining the Cisco Pike Gang. Nor is it known how or why the Frenchman came to the wild west of the United States. During the gang's attack on the town of Wells Junction, Le' Sabre was instructed to free Cisco Pike's second-in-command, Red Duck, out of the town jail. He easily disarmed the sheriff's girlfriend, Laura Ingulls, and planned on raping her before he was interrupted by the Rawhide Kid. Rawhide and the sheriff, Matt Morgan, defeated Le' Sabre and Red Duck and locked them both away in a jail cell.[2]
