Seven Empires
The fabulous Seven Empires,[1][2][3][4] Seven Empire of Thuria,[1] or Seven Kingdoms,[5][6][7][8] were the civilized nations that dominated the Pre-Cataclysmic Age,[2] the civilized nations of the mainland of Thuria[1] and the principal political entities of the Western world at the time of Kull.[3]
The Seven Empires included Kamelia, Valusia, Verulia, Grondar, Thule, Commoria,[1][2][3] and Zarfhaana on its own,[9] or within the Triple Federation, composed of Farsun, Zarfhaana and another unnamed country.[3][1] Valusia was the greatest of the Seven Empires.[10]

- The listing for the seventh spot among the Seven Empires varied among Robert E. Howard experts:
- Robert Weinberg considered that the seventh member, the Triple Federation, might had included Farsun, Zarfhaana and another unnamed country.[3] That listing was retained in the Atlantis and the Pre-Cataclysmic Age's entry of the Handbook of the Conan Universe #1.
- "A Gazetteer of the Hyborian Age", compiled by Lee Falconer, suggested that the Triple Federation included Farsun, the Atlantean Colonies, and Lemuria-of-the-West.[3]
- Thurania might also had been among the Seven Empires.[3]
- Zarfhaana was considered (seemingly on its own) as possibly[11] or probably the seventh member.[2] This was later confirmed.[9]
- Robert Weinberg considered that the seventh member, the Triple Federation, might had included Farsun, Zarfhaana and another unnamed country.[3] That listing was retained in the Atlantis and the Pre-Cataclysmic Age's entry of the Handbook of the Conan Universe #1.
