The Goblin, a Nueva York City Indicator, hoped to take on Spider-Man's role as the city's defender, even if it meant going through the dodgy ways.[1]
Kang's Invasion[]
When Nueva York was brought to Chronopolis, the Goblin ended up in Manhattan, where he was chased and knocked out by Spider-Man there and a Spider-Gwen, but he managed to escape afterwards. After Chronopolis' barriers were removed, he was able to return to Nueva York and go to his lab at Alchemax. When Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Spider-Gwen and Spider-Man 2099 invaded the building, the Goblin sent several Alchemax scientists possessed by Symbiotes, and when that didn't work, he merged Venom and Carnage to defeat the heroes, forming Carnom. To their bad luck, the heroes defeated Carnom, who then rebelled against the Goblin and began to pursue him.[1]
