Gol-19 was found by Bishop after being separated from Sammara Shaw. He had been reprogrammed by the X-Men as an ally. Storm personally instructed the Sentinel to look for surviving X-Men. To prove the validity of the message, Gol-19 handed her tiara to Bishop. Gol-19 was severely damaged and ended up trapped in a cavern. With his mission fulfilled, Gol-19 asked Bishop to take his remaining power cell, letting him 'die at peace.'[1]
