History
Goose was a Flerken brought to Earth by Mar-Vell. She assumed an alias of "Doctor Wendy Lawson" and Goose lived with her as a pet while looking like a normal Earth cat. After Mar-Vell's death, Goose was left alone in the Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. Facility.
Six years later, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury and Carol Danvers visited the facility while looking into the past of both Danvers and "Doctor Lawson". Fury took a liking to Goose, who snuck aboard the airplane that they used to escape pursuit from the base.
They later took Goose to Mar-Vell's Laboratory in Earth's orbit, where Goose was revealed as a Flerken. She used her tentacles to swallow the Kree warriors that attacked them and also swallowed the Tesseract which contained an Infinity Stone. While escaping the orbital station, Goose scratched Fury, permanently damaging his left eye. Fury kept Goose close to him, which paid off, as the Flerken eventually coughed up the Tesseract.[1]
In 2026, Goose continued living with Carol Danvers as her pet. After Danvers went to work alongside Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan to stop Dar-Benn's plans, Goose was left to the care of the agents of S.A.B.E.R. and Kamala's family. During which, Goose begun breeding several Flerken eggs across the S.A.B.E.R. station, which hatched over 30 offsprings. Fury eventually used them to evacuate the station when it begun collapsing.[2]Attributes

Notes
- Reggie the Cat portrays Goose in Captain Marvel. However, because Carol Danvers's actress Brie Larson is allergic to cats, some scenes with Goose had to be filmed through CGI. So, any time Larson is seen holding Goose in the films, it is actually the CGI version.
Trivia
- Goose's name is a reference to the character of the same name from the 1986 film Top Gun.
