History
The Gotham Project seemingly had a similar history as the Manhattan Project of Earth-616. They created a prototype nuclear bomb that was stolen by the Red Skull. He planned to drop it on Washington, D.C., but thanks to the intervention of Batman, Captain America, and The Joker, it was dropped over the Atlantic Ocean instead.[1]
