Synopsis for 1st story
Groot crashes into Silver Surfer and Dawn Greenwood on his hunt for Rocket Raccoon. Together they save a nearby planet and its inhabitants from a cosmic storm, with Groot providing shelter for the inhabitants and the Surfer using the Power Cosmic to dispel the storm. Acari, a bug like creature who feeds on energy reveals that he was behind the storm, using it as bait to lure 'someone powerful' to him. He attempts to absorb the Power Cosmic from the Surfer, but is defeated by Groot. Groot and Dawn and the Surfer go their separate ways, with Groot leaving the planet in an old shop he was given by the planet's inhabitants.
