History

Guang Bo was an elder and a warrior living in a village in Ta Lo. When the company of Shang-Chi, Xialing, Katy and Trevor Slattery arrived in Ta Lo, he told them to get back in their car and drive away the way they came. They were allowed to stay after Shang-Chi's aunt Ying Nan welcomed her niece and nephe as family. As the inhabitaints of the village prepared for the arrival of Wenwu and the Ten Rings who were misled into planning to release the Dweller-in-Darkness, Guang Bo reluctantly trained Katy in the art of archery, using the dragonscale-tipped arrows.

When the Ten Rings arrived, Guang Bo tried to tell Wenwu off like he did to others, but was shut down when Wenwu belittled him for being far younger than his own thousand-year old age. A battle between Ten Rings and Ta Lo ensued, but Wenwu himself began breaking the protective barrier, which let through the Soul-Eaters that began attacking both the Ten Rings and the Ta-Lo residents. Since only the dragonscale weapons could hurt them, the Ten Rings ceased their hostilies and joined forces with the Ta-Lo against the creatures. Guang Bo joined the line of archers that prepared to fire on the approaching Soul-Eaters. However, in the chaos of combat he was grabbed by one of them and had his sould sucked out of his body.[1]
