History

Guardian was one of the Triad, three creatures created by the dormant personality of Bruce Banner to guide the almost mindless Hulk, each of whom was a physical embodiment of an aspect of him. Guardian represented Banner's survival instinct. When Banner was awakened, the Triad vanished.
