- The issue has no dialogue except for Groot and Surfer's exchange on the last page. In the middle of the story there are also two lines spoken by guards obscured in the alien font that, with the help of translations from Secret Invasion #5, can be deciphered as "last to hit him buys lunch", and "I likea lobster roll".
- The running gag of alien dialogue referencing lunch and lobster continues from earlier issues in this series. Letterer Cory Petit is the likely source of these hidden lines, as the writers have changed, but his role has been constant.
