History

The history of the Guardians of the Galaxy is presumably similar to their counterparts'. When their ship detected the energy reading of the Phoenix Force approaching them, Drax tried to steer the ship away, but the Phoenix kept following them. Star-Lord ordered a distress signal be sent before the Phoenix destroyed the ship, killing everyone aboard.
