History

The Guardians of the Galaxy was a group of heroes-for-hire who originally formed shortly after the Galactic War. Their initial line-up composed of Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon and Groot. Over time, they gathered several new members, including Drax, Mantis, and Gamora. Mantis would eventually leave the team for unknown reasons.

In the present day, they defeated Magus and the Universal Church of Truth.
