History
After trying to fight Ultron, Uatu managed to escape from the Synthezoid and went to ask Doctor Strange for help to stop him from eradicating life in all realities.[1]
Uatu traveled through several realities and chose Captain Carter, Star-Lord (T'Challa), Black Panther (Killmonger), Gamora, and Thor, who were taken to a bar created by Strange where he told them that they had been chosen to stop Ultron. Along with Strange, he told them about Ultron and the Infinity Stones. They devised a plan to take the Stones from him and would use the Soul Stone to ignite the Infinity Crusher to break the other stones. They were teleported to a desolate universe without intelligent life for the fight, there Thor accidentally called Ultron, Strange provided them all with a protection spell to counter Ultron's attacks and they managed to take the Soul Stone from him. Then they traveled to Ultron's home universe where they met the Black Widow of that universe and joined them after being convinced by Captain Carter, then Ultron traveled to their universe and tried to destroy them but was subdued by Strange and used the Crusher to destroy their Stones but had no effect as they were made to destroy the Infinity Stones of Gamora's Universe.
Ultron retrieved his Soul Stone and tried again to destroy them, but Natasha, with the help of Captain Carter, managed to pierce his eye with an arrow containing Arnim Zola's mind and it corrupted his programming and killed him, Killmonger used a Sentinel's head to steal the armor along with the Stones it contained. He tried to convince the other guardians to use the Stones to fix their universes, but they refused, so Killmonger tried to attack them with the Stones until Zola awoke now with Ultron's body and used his powers to claim the Stones for himself. While the two tried to claim the Infinity Stones, Strange locked them, with the help of Uatu, in a pocket dimension. Once their mission was over, Uatu sent each of the remaining Guardians to their respective universes at the very moment they were extracted from it (with the exception of Black Widow, who, since her universe was completely dead, was sent to a reality where her counterpart had already died).[2]Paraphernalia
