History

Gwen Stacy's doppelganger
Gwen Stacy was killed during a fight between Spider-Man and The Green Goblin.
She was returned to life by The Jackal, but unlike her Earth-616 counterpart, she didn't disintegrate. She bonded with a portion of the Venom Symbiote and attempted to extract revenge against Peter, blaming him for her death. During her quest, she ran into two other of Venom's hosts, Anne Weying and Eddie Brock, who calmed her down and recruited into the Spider-Men.[1]
