History

Shadow Clones

Gwen Ock was created by Lyla Bennett, with the DNA of both Spider-Gwen and Doctor Octopus and implanted with a mind control device in an attempt to get revenge on Spider-Gwen. In their first encounter, Spider-Gwen removed the device, and the two joined forces to learn what was happening. They defeated and freed Sandgwen, but Bennet set a trap and captured all three of them. Gwen Ock sacrificed herself to destroy a machine that was meant to kill every version of Gwen Stacy throughout the Multiverse.

Personality

Gwen Ock's mind was artificially programmed with a combination of Spider-Gwen's and Doc Ock's memories, giving her a personality like theirs. She had Gwen's heroism and self-sacrifice tempered by Octavius' sense of superiority.
