Gwen met Peter Parker and became his first true love, supporting and encouraging him, helping he overcome many adversities.
Visiting the Bugle[]
She was present when the Daily Bugle was cleaned up by Agent Coulson and Doctor Octopus.[2]
Vexed by Venom[]

She would gain powers through unknown means and become known as Ghost-Spider. Along with her friend Mary Jane, Gwen visited a Roxxon laboratory where it ended up being invaded by Venom. Upon seeing the destruction the villain was causing, Gwen got dressed to save everyone in the lab.[3] After Venom escapes, Gwen runs into Spider-Man, in which she gives him a device for him to call her whenever he needs to. Later, Gwen would call Peter to let him know that his college work was due. Peter, on the same call, asks what Roxxon is about, Gwen explains that it is an energy company that was building a Renewable Energy Plant.[1] In the battle with Venom at the Roxxon Renewable Power Plant, Spider-Man asked Gwen for help in defeating Venom, the two together manage to defeat the villain. After the battle, Gwen and Mary Jane meet Peter at college and offer him entry into a study group they were doing.[4]
Mission Demolition[]
Ghost-Spider was one of several heroines trapped on the Galactus by Terrax. After Galactus was destroyed by Dennis Dunphy, Gwen fought alongside the other trapped heroes against Terrax and successfully defeated him.[5]Paraphernalia
